Rural romance – tick.
Country pub dates – tick.
Chemistry sizzling across the fields – tick
Horse lovers meet – tick

It is quite fitting that on a day when revelations of a certain royal prince’s muddy roll around in the hay with a horsey type is world news, that a genuine rural single has contacted us to say he’s unearthed his own ‘queen’ whilst rural dating with us.

The revelations in the ‘Spare’ memoirs of Prince Harry’s right of passage as a ‘stallion’, in a country pub in a field makes for something as a fictional backdrop of a well thumbed Jilly Cooper novel.

But like Prince Harry’s memoirs, we too deal in muddy encounters, and rural love stories between country minded people are our bread and butter.

It adds up to proof that Muddy Matches – the UK’s original home of rural dating and farmer love – in all its traditional, trusted and award-winning glory – is, indeed, fit for a king!

Like Harry, 80% muddy was quick to talk of his muddy success. He might not be quite the prince charming, but agricultural yard worker Jamie, from Suffolk, has matched, met and is now dating, a horse lover of his own, who he met whilst farmer dating with us.

And they share a love of country pub dates and muddy dog walks too. It feels like a right royal connection that has legs.

‘Easy going’ Jamie says he joined Muddy Matches looking to connect with outdoorsy women who shared his positive outlook on country life, and with whom he had common ground.

In this couple’s rural world, that meant shared interests in game fairs, country shows, hiking and log fires. A lifelong love of Labradors also helped.

It’s looking like a muddy love story to tell the world about.
