Alan sent me a message through this site in August 2013, just when I had given up with trying internet dating. I nearly didn’t respond, having been let down and hurt by other dates. I did though and we got chatting. We met up a few days later and the rest is history.

We got engaged last year and are now planning a medieval style wedding in Stockton and then Daventry for Nov 5th, so hopefully the fireworks will all be good ones!”
