He captured the hearts of TV viewers with his gentlemanly conduct and gentle nature on recent BBC Two country life dating reality series, Love in the Countryside.

Now thoroughbred stud farm assistant manager Niall Cummings has turned to Muddy Matches to help end his 7-year wait to saddle up with someone special.

The 6ft9 ‘naturally shy’ gentle giant, now living in Newmarket, became an overnight hit on social media following his appearance on the charming BBC show after being picked by equine dentist Victoria for a series of country life dates.

He made the final two in the series’ finale before ultimately missing out. However his gentlemanly conduct, caring persona and self deprecating sense of humour endeared him to the millions of viewers who tuned in.

Niall described his Love in the Countryside experience as ‘a fantastic one’ but is now welcoming country loving ladies to get in touch through Muddy Matches as his quest for a rural relationship picks up pace.

“Life in the stud industry can be a little lonely at times so I am looking for that special lady in my life,” the 40 year old Scotsman told us. “It would be lovely to find someone who has a great sense of humour, is confident and puts you at ease quickly. Obviously, with my job and my golden retriever, I would love that person to be a fellow animal lover.”

And standing at 6ft9, one thing is sure; he is a certainly a catch for ladies seeking a taller man.

“Well, they don’t come much taller”, he jokes.

Niall is now active and awaiting messages on Muddy Matches – the UK’s number one online dating website for folk who live, work or simply enjoy the country life. To view his profile*, click here.
