Autumn Date Ideas

Sunday, October 25th, 2015

The clocks have gone back, the nights are getting colder and the leaves are starting to fall from the trees, autumnit must be autumn. So here are some date ideas to make the most of the new season…

Fireworks night

First things first, don’t try to host a romantic firework display in your garden… it’s much safer to attend an organised event away from animals and peoples’ houses.

An organised fireworks display is a good, safe, public place in which to meet for a first date.

Garden walk

At this time of year as the leaves change colour, it’s a fantastic time to take a walk through the woodlands. Head to a country park together to enjoy the scenery on a romantic day time walk.

Watch the rugby

Wrap up warm and cheer on your team together (assuming that you support the same team). If you don’t support the same team, try to go for an exciting match with neutral teams.

Try a ghost walk

I’ve yet to find a scary ghost walk (please let us know if you have been on one), but they are good entertainment and a nice excuse to get out and about to discover new places. They tend to be in touristy areas and large cities, but around Halloween they also pop up in towns and villages as one off events.

Murder mystery

While we’re discussing scary entertainment, this is the perfect time of year to attend a murder mystery event with your new date.
