The team on Saturday

The ‘Muddy’ Fordhall Working Weekend was a great success, with more than 20 single volunteers coming to get their hands dirty, enjoy the fresh air and meet some new like-minded people.  There was a lot of work to be done, from building a disabled access path to putting up a new fence, and everyone seemed to enjoy getting stuck in and seeing the jobs get finished.

There was also plenty of opportunity for everyone to get to know each
other as they worked together over the weekend and several of the
volunteers said what a natural, stress-free way it was to meet people.
Overall, the event went really well and we are looking forward to
holding more singles’ events at Fordhall Farm in the future.

Feedback from the event:

Thanks for arranging the weekend at Fordhall, it was great to meet other Muddy people and get stuck in to some great jobs.  I certainly hope to go back to Fordhall on other volunteer weekends, perhaps MM could make it an annual event?”

Thanks for organising a great weekend, the company was great and it was great to see the tasks we were given progress and
hopefully make a difference for Ben and Charlotte.  Keep up the good work.”
