CLA Game Fair Social Events – Get Your Tickets Now!

July is just whizzing by and we are getting very excited about this year’s CLA Game Fair at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.  As you know, we are adding a number of new social twists to the event with our fun and friendly Straw Bale Speed Dating and the Muddy AfFair countryside dating show and singles-themed drinks party.

Straw Bale Speed Dating (Friday 25th, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th July)

Come and chat to other single country people in a fun and informal atmosphere!

We’re holding hour-long sessions at the Muddy Matches stand (F1044) throughout the day on all three days of the Game Fair.  This is open to all ages but, don’t worry, we will make sure that there is a suitable age range for you and let you know what time to come.

Dating Show and Drinks Party (Saturday 26th July)

Things are hotting up on the dating show front as Emma just confirms the final 10 who are taking part.  Loads of you applied so good on all of you for wanting to get involved and do something a little bit quirky and different…we’re just sorry that not everyone can take part.

But everyone has to come and watch!

It starts at 5pm in the Game Fair Theatre and will be a great opportunity to have a drink, meet a few new people, rest your feet and sit back and enjoy some light-hearted entertainment.  Following on from the show, at 6pm, we are then holding a singles-themed drinks party for all the contestants, the audience and for anyone who fancies rounding off a cracking day with a nice drink and a chance to meet some like-minded country people.  Come alone, bring your Mum, rope in your mates…it really doesn’t matter; everyone is welcome (single or not) to both the show and the drinks party.  For single people, however, we will be revealing a fun and unique singles twist to the drinks party to make it easier for you to spot and approach other single people; don’t be alarmed – you are going to love it!

Tickets for the show and drinks party cost just £15 (including drinks).  Please be aware that space at the dating show is fairly limited and tickets are selling quickly so, if you are really keen to come (perhaps one of your friends is even taking part!) don’t leave it too late to get a ticket.  In fact,  buy your ticket now!

Reasons not to come

• Harvest: okay, okay, if you’re an arable farmer, we’ll let you off.  If the weather’s right, we know you have to do your thing but, if it’s not, we want you there!  You’ll even be able to buy a ticket for the drinks party on the door for £10 so it will be possible to get involved at short notice.

• Weddings, christenings and other must-attend events: granted, there are some things that you just can’t get out of but luckily the Game Fair goes on for three days so you can come along to one of them!

• Distance: poor excuse – people come from all over the place for the Game Fair and Blenheim Palace is very well connected.  Click here to sort out your travel arrangements, be it by car, bus, train or air, and come an join us in the campsite!
