How do I know if someone Likes Me?

It feels all a bit like a school playground to ask if someone likes you, but there are ways to tell without resorting to playground tactics.

Visits

If someone has looked at your profile on Muddy Matches, you will be able to see who it was in by checking ‘My visits’ in your Muddy Matches account.

A visit doesn’t necessarily mean that they like you, but it’s a good sign that they’ve chosen to click through to your profile after seeing your photo and the first line of your text.

Favourites

If someone has added you to their favourites, it means that they are keen on you and have saved your profile to come back to later. It may mean that they are thinking about what to write to you in a message, so if you’re keen you can speed up the process by sending them a message first.

Receiving a message is a sure-fire way to know that someone fancies you.

On a date

If you’re on a date with someone, you can be pretty sure that they are interested in you, however that doesn’t always stop the nagging doubt that says ‘what if s/he does’t like me s/he sees me?’. So how do you tell if all is going well?

Conversation is flowing

If conversation is flowing easily, with both of you taking it in turns to speak, that is a good sign. If you find that everything is a bit of a struggle it can either mean that they aren’t too keen, or that maybe they are just not a chatty person.

Things are getting flirty

If your date is being flirty, it means that they fancy you and that a second date is very likely.
