Amber the cob saying ‘neigh’, Emma said ‘aye’ – Spalding Today

Tuesday, February 07th, 2023

We are always pleased when local newspapers take an active interest in the country couples we inspire, and choose to feature their muddy success stories.

The latest local to cover a love story is Spalding Today (Spalding Gazette and Lincolnshire Free Press), who have followed up on our own coverage of Lincolnshire love birds, Emma and Ben who got engaged in a horse paddock on their patch.

The mud lovers will marry in June 2024, and Duncan and the press team at Spalding Today saw the same feel good in the couple’s dating success as we did, choosing to tell it in print, and online.

Here’s the link to the online version:

We’ll even excuse them calling us ‘Muddy Matched’ in the feature 😉

Ben and Emma’s Muddy Matches success story also features in The Lincolnite: Horse-lover says ‘yes’ after a-neigh-zing Lincolnshire countryside proposal (thelincolnite.co.uk)

For over 15 years now, Muddy Matches has been well trusted as the UK’s original, online home of rural dating, and the ‘go-to’ website to meet, match, date singles from all walks of country life, including British farmers.
