Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for your site and everything you do to match country loving loving couples.
I signed onto your site after I was totally intimidated by other more commercial advertised sites (Match, etc) and a friend mentioned she knew people who had met people through your site and I should give it a try.
I signed up on a Thursday, made some ‘favs’ and told a friend on the Friday about it, she promptly sign up too. Later that night one of my ‘favs’ replied…. 20 months later we are now married and I have even relocated from the Isle of Man to Naseby, Northants and living the happy ever after dream (well it will be once I have found a job – so if you ever need another assistant….!!) My friend who I introduced to your site also found happy ever after and was married in June this year – two birds or should that be drakes with one hit.
Other than thank you so much the only thing I have to say is please can you therefore cancel my membership!!

I found Muddy Matches via a Google search for ‘the farmer wants a wife’ – I ended up with an engineer who describes himself as a ‘frustrated farmer’!
We had a fabulous wedding day with the reception in the field at my parents’ farm in Shropshire – and, perhaps very appropriately for how we met, it was muddy!!

Jane and Duncan’s Story Featured in The Times
We were delighted to see a feature on Jane and Duncan in the Marriages and Engagements section of The Times.

The couple started chatting on Muddy Matches back in 2007 and were in fact some of the very first people to join the website. Jane was a university friend of Emma, one of the website’s co-founders, and Duncan was a friend of a friend who had heard about the launch of the site. Both of them joined to help support a fledgling business and ended up finding true love in the process! However, as you will read in the article below (just click on it to enlarge) it wasn’t a speedy romance – in fact they didn’t actually meet until 2 years after they had first emailed each other! Despite the fact that they lived hundreds of miles apart, when they did meet they were clearly perfect for each other and the couple are now very happily living together and will be getting married in April 2012.
