royal county of berkshire show

Results from Royal County of Berkshire Show

Emma and I had a great time at the Royal County of Berkshire Show last weekend and really enjoyed judging the small tradestands.  There were more than 80 in our category to look at and it was hard to choose between so many great stands but after much deliberating we finally settled on three stands to take the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes.

And the winners were…

Third place went to Mil-tek who make waste balers and compactors.  We thought it was a really well laid out and eye catching technical stand and the staff were really friendly.

Second place went to Farmer Brown’s Products who manufacture and supply high quality wild bird, poultry and animal feeds.  Their products looked great and we thought they had done a great job in making their stand look friendly and inviting.

And finally a big congratulations to Albert Rose who took first place.  A quirky-looking stand selling country chic accessories, furniture and furnishings for the home and garden, we thought this stand had the wow factor in terms of presentation.

Muddy Matches at Royal County of Berkshire Show

Look out for us at the Royal County of Berkshire Show, where Muddy Matches founders Lucy and Emma will be judging the small trade stands!

The show takes place at the Newbury Showground and lasts for two days (17th and 18th September 2011), but Emma and Lucy will only be there on the Saturday.  They will be wearing their red Muddy Matches jackets so hopefully you will spot them if you are there – pop over and say hello if you do and we will give you a week’s free subscription to the site.

Can’t make this weekend, or is Berkshire too far away?  Don’t forget to check out the Muddy Matches Countryside Calendar, which lists all the country shows by regions; the summer may be over but there is still plenty going on!
