Open Farm Sunday on June 9th was a great success and the Muddy Matches team turned out in force at the event at Glebe Farm in Podington.

MM’s Lucy was on the entrance welcoming people into the event and MM’s Emma was in charge of the nature walk.

Highlights of the event included the tractor rides, stroking the animals and of course the nature walk; which took in a tour of the farm’s biomass wood chip burner and a visit to Bedfordshire’s only waterfall.

Bedfordshire Geology Group was also on hand to show some of the great finds from the Jurassic waterfall including a wide range of fossils that were found at the site.
