Fun Second Date Ideas

Sunday, October 08th, 2017

Going on a date doesn’t have to be  a serious and sensible experience — you can have fun and do something different. On a first date you will need to meet in a busy public place such as a coffee shop, or pub, but for a second date you can be more flexible about where you meet up.

Here are some suggestions for something a little different.

Crazy golf

Crazy golf is a little bit silly and allows you to experience someone’s competitive side. You can even find indoor crazy golf pitches in arcades and sports centres in some areas of the country, which allows you to escape bad weather.

Hire a bike

A muddy bike adventure is a good alternative to meeting up to go for a walk. You can hire bikes in lots of city centres, or in country parks. Sometimes you can even hire a tandem, which will test your ability to work together for a common goal.

Try segwaying

Segwaying didn’t really catch on as a mode of transport, but it is a quirky way to get to know your date and a new experience to tick off your list.

Falconry experience

Learn and new skill and enjoy nature by getting up close with birds of prey in a falconry experience day with your muddy date.

Go to a sports match

Watching a rugby match, or another winter sport is a great date idea for muddy people. Grab a hot drink and wrap up warm to support your favourite team together.

High ropes course

Swing through the trees like a monkey in a harness as you enjoy the thrill of being suspended high above the ground in the treetops. You’ll get to see how brave your date is and get to try out a bit of team work on tricky bits of the course.

Go to a cookery class

If you’ve always fancied learning how to create gourmet cuisine, or finding out how to decorate cupcakes, why not get your date involved? Suggest a cookery class so that you can both enjoy the experience together.
