“I just wanted to let you know that, back in 2010, I moved from Northern Ireland to start a new job in Ipswich. After I had been there a while a friend encouraged me to join Muddy Matches and when I did, I met Jonathan. I am happy to say that we have been together ever since and got engaged back in June this year. We have set the date for our wedding in summer 2014 and we can’t wait. A massive thank you to Muddy Matches for helping me find the man of my dreams!” Lisa

“Jeremy and I met through Muddy Matches in February 2009. We first met at the Bridge Inn, Topsham, one of the oldest pubs in the country and the only one visited by the Queen! We hit it off immediately after having had a great email exchange through the website.
We are not terribly muddy, but have huge fun in a Devon pheasant shooting syndicate, where I beat through the bushes and Jeremy finds excuses for all the birds he misses! We also love to walk on Dartmoor and Jeremy is learning to love cycling!
We soon realised that we had a second chance at happiness and Jeremy asked me, in true Hugh Grant style, to walk with him for the rest of my life, married or not! As a result, we are marrying in August 2013! It will be a Devon town hall wedding with a hog roast, lots of family and many good friends – including guns and beaters!
Thanks to Muddy Matches for bringing such a lovely man into my life!” Judy
“I thought it was about time I emailed to say that through Muddy Matches I have meet my future husband. Gareth and I met through MM in February 2012 and since then I’ve moved to Northumberland to start our life together and in April of this year he proposed! Thank you muddy matches, I cannot wait to be his wife!” Vikki
“A friend of mine I forced to join just over a year ago got married at the weekend from finding his love through your site,” wrote James about his friend, also called James, who found love with his muddy match Louisa.
James went on to say that the happy couple, who now run a dairy farm together “made lots of references to Muddy Matches at their wedding and with lots of tractors it was a great day”.
Here are the photos that James sent through of his friend’s happy day…
