Photos of Muddy Matches Couples from the Game Fair
We have just got back from the CLA Game Fair and were completely gobsmacked by the number of couples who came to say hello to us who had met on Muddy Matches. On the Friday and Saturday alone, about 65 couples came up to the stand to say that they had got married or engaged after meeting on the site, and some of them had even since had children!
When we got the chance we tried to get a photo of the less camera-shy couples and thought we would take this opportunity to share some of them with you….
Long may your match making continue…
“Hiya, I’m taking myself off Muddy as I’ve met an amazing man who was a member on here, and without sounding too corny he has turned my life upside down and I’m happier than I’ve been in years. I went to one of your pub grub nights which was fantastic, and I think the whole approach of Muddy is far better than any of the other sites. Long may your match making continue, thanks again.” Fi x

We got married last Saturday…in our wellies!
“Hi guys, Thought you might like to know………. In October 2008 at your speed dating event two wellie wearers met and fell for each other in a big way. We got married last Saturday still in our wellies! “ Nick
I can’t thank you ladies enough for your fantastic site…
“I met you guys for the first time last year at the CLA Game Fair. You probably wouldn’t remember us – (my now boyfriend) suggested our first date should be there and to meet opposite the MM stand, as we met via your website!
I can’t thank you ladies enough for your fantastic site, and the opportunity for me to meet someone who has influenced my life so much. Gareth is a real gem, and has gone above and beyond anything I had ever expected from anyone.” Kelly
*A note from Muddy Matches (15.07.11): Kelly and Gareth are still together and kindly agreed to speak to Anna Tyzack from The Telegraph newspaper for an article she was writing about the CLA Game Fair and how it is an excellent place for country singles to meet. It's early days yet but it does appear to be a perfect match so far…
“Hi Lucy…Please accept my apologies for the Hinxton pub grub night. I have just started dating someone who I have just met on muddymatches, so I don’t think it would be appropriate for me attend at the moment! She is totally mad with a zany soh, just like me really, it’s early days yet but it does appear to be a perfect match so far. My friend is still living with his partner who he met on the site in a v.short space of time, they are a very good match & are very happy together. Hope the pub nite goes well.” Rob

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed being on MM and the pleasure it has brought me…
“Dear Muddy Matches. As probably one of the members of MM living closest to the Red Lion, I must sadly decline your kind invitation to the Pub Grub night because I am going out on a date with [someone] who I met through MM in January. So it does work!! Incidentally, the Red Lion is a great pub, but I more regularly use the Fox and Hounds[...]there have been numerous occasions when I have counted at least 8 MM members in that pub at the same time! And it’s not a very big pub! We think this area must be a MM hotspot, so we don’t want to take up spaces of those members who are still looking for dates! Hope it all goes well and everybody has fun. But ask the diners not to feed Cocoa (beautiful Chocolate Labrador) any food! It’s too good to waste anyway! I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed being on MM and the pleasure it has brought me. I must admit as to not using the site often these days because it has introduced me to some fantastic friends. It was all down to MM.” Richard
We met at the Muddy Matches ball…
“Thanks for the update…although I have found a wonderful match, we met at the Muddy Match Ball, he is a farmer, lives only 10 miles from my house and is just fantastic!!!! We are both very happy and continue to sing the praises of Muddy Matches and always recommend you to “our” friends, once again, thank you very much for helping us find each other.” Amanda
