Just to wish you all a Happy Valentines Day!
You have come in your tens of thousands over the last three days to make the most of the free subscription we gave out on the 11, 12th and 13th Feb. We very much hope it has been put to good use and that you took up our Muddy Valentines Challenge to try and bag yourself a date for Valentines Day (or thereabouts). We’ve heard some great feedback so far and know that hundreds of dates have been organised.

Not a word of a lie – on the 12th February we'll be giving away two days’ free subscription to any member with an approved and visible profile. And this isn't some ‘subscribe-for-6-months-and-we'll-give-you-a-few-extra-days' gimmick either. It doesn't matter whether you've subscribed before or not; if you've filled out a profile and it's live and visible on the site, you'll be able to send and receive messages for free over the weekend of the 12th and 13th February. And if you're already a subscriber – don't worry – your two days will get added to the end of your current subscription.
Why?
Well, we know times are tight and it is Valentine's Day, but more importantly we're about to turn four – Happy Birthday to us – and how better to celebrate the occasion than by spreading a little muddy love? So if you're single, why not come back onto the site, see who's new, freshen up your profile a little bit and get messaging? Take a few chances as well: if you normally search within fifty miles of your postcode, why not try a hundred? If your typical age bracket is 30-35, how about trying 27-37? You could really make someone's day if you send them a message and – you never know – if you get on the case quickly enough you might just bag yourself a date for the 14th!
What do you have to do?
- Make sure that your profile is online, up-to-date and 'visible' before Friday 11th February (it's easy to check by signing in and clicking on 'view my published profile').
- Tell all your single muddy friends that, if they haven’t joined already, they have to get online and add their profile!

Free Love for Rural Singles This Valentines Day
It seems like the cost of everything is going up at the moment so the girls behind rural dating site MuddyMatches.co.uk have decided to spread some muddy cheer by offering rural singles the chance to use their site for free in the run up to Valentines Day.
It is free to register on the Muddy Matches website, which launched in 2007 and now boasts over 50,000 members, but users are normally required to pay a subscription when they wish to communicate with another member, with prices starting at £18 for a month’s unlimited messaging. This February, however, all members with completed profiles will be given two days’ free subscription to the site so that they can contact as many people as they want and hopefully bag themselves a date for Valentines Day.
“We’re all feeling the pinch”, says Lucy, who runs the website with her sister Emma, “so we thought it would be a nice idea to give our members a helping hand in their search for love.”
The two days’ free subscription will be added on the 12th February so members will have the whole weekend to search the site and get chatting to anyone who might take their fancy. To register on the site and add your profile, please visit www.muddymatches.co.uk.
