Back in August 2009 we received a success story from a lady called Gina who had met the man of her dreams on Muddy Matches. Since then Gina has married her muddy match, Mark and has moved her business Gina Lillcrop Designs to her husband’s farm in Wigtownshire. Mark even recommended Muddy Matches to a friend who also went on to find love with a woman he met on the site. So we were delighted to read more about Gina’s successful move to the countryside.
Gina shared the story of her move to the farm with the website Dumfries and Galloway What’s Going On? and spoke about how well she has taken to becoming a farmer’s wife, including gaining a new skill (driving the Massey 6499).

We’d like to wish you a very Merry Christmas from the Muddy Matches team!
Everything will be up and running as usual during the festive season and there will be someone in the office every day; except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Have a great Christmas and don’t forget to tell us about your Christmas success stories!
Downing Street have just announced that a public holiday will be held on the day of Prince William’s marriage to Kate Middleton. After the couple had set the date for 29th April 2011, the extra day off was agreed in cabinet this morning. The Scottish government are yet to come back on this, but it does mean that millions of workers are expected to have two days off that week, as the Easter Monday Bank Holiday falls on 25th April 2011. What muddy antics will you be getting up to with all this extra time off?
It’s a shame we can’t have a day off for every muddy wedding that takes place as we’re well into the hundreds now! Check out our success stories page to read more.
Hooray! Rob and Jenny met on Muddy Matches and were spotted together at the Oakley Point-to-Point at the beginning of April. We’re not buying hats just yet but they do make a lovely couple!
